Hey all, welcome to the new blog Food Spectacle!

I've set up this blog for two reasons. First, it sounds like a lot of people like to cook, so I thought it would be fun to have a blog to post photographs of recent creations, share recipes, and otherwise talk about food.

Second, I thought a blog might be a good way for everyone to share what's going on in their lives and keep in touch. So, post personal news, general news, thoughts, vacation photos, and whatever else strikes your fancy.

Really, then, the blog is about food and keeping in touch and whatever else anyone feels like posting.
